Is Japanese Shy?

We are not good at expressing our own opinion. Why? Because we are shy. Japanese education system is not active base. It means students are passive. At class, students listen to what teachers say mainly. Students don’t really think about “what I think”. WHY? I guess those passive attitude are coming from daily speaking word. I mean Japanese Language.

When I compare with Japanese and English. Japanese language is composed by a lots of pronouns. Such as it, that and they. The word is not specific. So there are a lot of misunderstandings for each others.

On the other hands Japanese people cares human mind so much. When you go to at any hotels or services areas, you will be able to get their best service. It is one of Japanese culture. “Omotenashi”. Understanding people so much. So, Japanese have blind communication tools. They do not talk to each other. But people can feel or help at any situations. Such as at any working place also. If you want to get something from customer, your co-worker might think about next steps. I know it makes mistakes sometimes. But this is one of the reason why Japanese needs is so shy. It is because they care people too much.

Fall season is coming soon. Forest is changing green color to red color.

The forest is changing their clothes.

Fall season is called Food season. Fall and Winder foods are so good in Japan.

The red flower is called “HIGANBANA”. English name is “spider lily”. It is natual. I did not plant. This season we can see a beautiful rice-field at any places in Japan. And SWINE comes around. Human vs Swine. Who wins? Sometimes human win. Sometimes swine win. It is fun to chat with animal.

The place is surrounded by forest. It was hot day. But the place is perfect to live.

Why is environment changing so fast? Human is producing that the earth can not hold.

If we don’t have a electrical power.
If we don’t have a car.
If we don’t have any computer games.

Think about our human history. We could live with earth well. No power, No Gas, No PC games. Human can live with earth well through our past. Learn from th past. It tells us what we need now.

Do I know my own culture? It is Japanese Culture. However do I know exactly what Japanese Culture is.
Do you know your own culture? It is not so easy to see my own culture if I live in one country. When I lived in other countries, I thought about my own country. When I compare with my own culture, I can see a lot of great parts of Japan. And I see a bad point of Japan also.

What is my culture?

If it is too close to you, try to see from out side of your country. It gives you some new view points of country.

Japanese Entrance. This picture was taken from inside of house. Japanese Entrance had a Cycas revoluta infront of entrance. WHY?

Because it is for customers. From outside of entrance, nobody cannot see inside of the entrance. The outside of entrance is behind the Cycas revoluta.

“OMOTENASHI” is meaning of think about customers.

Japanese Kitchen. Of course, this is the old style. Look the window. It is designed to get sun light. It is kind of hard to cotrol a fire of the kitchen. However, the kitchen is organize as simple.
